Sioma River Camp

A high quality safari camp on the Zambezi River
close to the main Sesheke-Senanga road just south of the Sioma (Ngonye)
Falls in southwest Zambia.
The camp has good views up- and downstream.
Accommodation options include 6 luxury safari tents with
open air bathrooms, placed on elevated, wooden decks with thatched
roofs, 4 standard safari tents - also with open air bathrooms - for self
drive and self catering tourists and a campsite.

The main lodge building consists of a kitchen, restaurant/bar and
lounge. In addition a drawing room, several relaxation areas as well as
a swimming pool will soon be built

Sioma Bush Camp
The bush camp is situated southwest of
the Sioma (or Ngonye) Falls in the Game Management Area and close to the
north-western border of the Sioma Ngwezi National Park. Each safari tent
is placed with excellent views across nearby waterholes. It is
envisaged that the bush camp will be constructed along the same design
lines as the river camp and offer more or less similar accommodation
options.
Both camps will be based on ‘eco-tourism’ principles, including the use
of sustainable energy sources, i.e. a combination of water turbines and
solar power with generator only as a back up option.
A Self
catering
campsite
with basic tented
accommodation is also available.
