A note on our family pricing policy:
 

The overall pricing policy reflects own experiences as a guest – and father - at a number of not always family and children friendly lodges throughout East and Southern Africa.

 

Children under the age of 13 will therefore be welcome at no charge (from 13-19 years the rate will be 50%) if they sleep in our safari beds in their parents tent. The same principle will apply with regard to meals and activities.

 


Rates (per person per night) 2010

 

 

 The River Camp:

 

Tented chalet (classic safari style) on raised wooden platforms with thatched roof; semi open bathroom en suite.

 

  • Full board (excluding drinks)           105 US$         

  • Bed and breakfast                           65 US$    

  • Accommodation only                        55 US$ 

 

 The Bush Camp:

Safari Dome Tents (3x3 meter; joint ablution facilities). Self catering unless by prior arrangement.

 Camping

10 US$ pppn. (At both the River and Bush Camp)
 

Notes

  • In addition we have various 2-3 nights packages – fishing/river activities and/or bush activities - (minimum of 4 people). Please enquire for further details.

  • All rates per person per night sharing.

  • Special rates available for local and regional guests. Please contact us for further details.

  • Children from 0-12 are free of charge for accommodation provided they sleep in parent’s chalet.

  • Children from 12-18 pay 50% of adult price.

Meals:

Breakfast 10 US$

Lunch: 10 US$

Dinner: 15 US$  

Drinks are not included.

 

Facilities:

Restaurant, braai boma, bar, library, fishing gear, binoculars, night star telescope, night vision scope.

 

Activities:

  • Boattrips to Ngonye Falls – 30 US$ per person plus park fee.

Transfers:

By air charter from Livingstone or Lusaka.
Rates around US$ 450 pp one way.

By road from Livingstone. With a Livingstone based car hire company to Sesheke and from there to Sioma in one of Sioma Camp’s open game drive vehicle the one way transfer rate is US$ 125 pp based on a group of 4 people.

A luxury bus service operates between Livingstone and Sesheke at US$ 10 pp. From Sesheke we do one way transfers to Sioma Camp at US$ 30 pp based on a group of 4 people.
